Judith (Judy) Scott has always liked working with children. She received a B.A. in Elementary Education and a B.A. in Psychology from Graceland College in 1977. She began work as a research assistant for the University of Kansas and helped to standardize the Parsons Visual Acuity Test for children ages 24 to 48 months. In 1993, Judy received an M.A. in Counseling and Guidance from UMKC. She did her internship at Synergy in Parkville, Missouri from 1993 to 1996. Judy received an Ed.S. degree from UMKC in 1995. She worked as a school counselor for two years from 1996 to 1998.
Judy began private practice in 1996 and contracted with Tri-County Mental Health Center until 2008. She has contracted with Westport Counseling Associates since 2001.
Her specialties involve children and family, women’s issues, and she especially enjoys working with young children. She can provide:
