Tiffanie Blaylock joined Westport Counseling in February 2016. She has a B.S in Criminal Justice Administration from the University of Phoenix in Kansas City, MO. Ms. Blaylock has over 10 years of experience working with families in social services. Ms. Blaylock has worked as a mentor to children in state custody ranging from ages 6-17 and teen mothers. Ms. Blaylock has over 10 years of experience working as a case manager in mental health, behavioral health, and rapid rehousing. Ms. Blaylock currently works for Children's Mercy Healthy Families program. She works with pregnant and postpartum moms educating them about their babies development and milestones. She also provides support and community resources to families.
Tiffanie possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a demeanor relatable to clients and peers. Ms. Blaylock has the ability to match appropriate community resources to family needs. She has extensive facilitator experience in support groups. Ms. Blaylock exudes patience, caring and empathy towards clients. Ms. Blaylock has one son who’s a college athlete that she’s very proud of.
