Gloria Yates is a Secondary School Teacher in the Raytown School District, and a Parent Aide for Westport Counseling. She has been teaching for 13 years, and prior to that worked in the business field for over 15 years. She joined Westport Counseling in March 2012. Some of her job responsibilities are:
- Assisting parents by linking then to community resources
- Providing transportation and oversight for supervised visits
- Completing all required case files for documentation
Mrs. Yate attended Rockhurst University where she received a Master of Education, graduating with honors, in May 2004. She has gained diverse experience working for the Kansas City School District, Southwest Charter School, and Raytown Middle School. She has performed many other duties in the school setting, such as Yearbook Coordinator and the Academic Advisory Coordinator.
Mrs. Yates is very involved in her church which includes teaching Bible Class, and working with the Youth and Community outreach. She is married and has one child who will attend Missouri State in the Fall of 2015.
